What specs should my photos be on my Shopify store?

This is a common question and an important one. Ensuring your image specs are correct is essential to maintain your website's aesthetics consistency and optimise your site speed.

Different modules will require different image orientations, and product images may be in square or portrait formats. But the one thing they all have in common? The smaller the file size, the faster your website will load. At a minimum, we recommend keeping image files under 1MB in size.

Here are our go-to image dimensions for Shopify:

• Square (1:1) | 1080px x 1080px
• Portrait (9:16) | 900px x 1600px
