After wrapping up her formal education, Lucy spent nearly two decades representing New Zealand on the world stage as a professional rower and then as an Ironman athlete. When her high-performance sports career came to an unexpected halt, she redirected her fierce determination towards mastering a new craft. Having honed her skills at top marketing agencies and big-name brands like Hyundai and Auckland Rugby, Lucy decided it was time to blaze her own trail. And just like that, BLOOM was born.

Following the Tokyo Olympics, Liv transitioned from high-performance sports to a career in digital marketing. She spent over a decade with the Rowing New Zealand Team, where she won two world championships.

Her first role out of rowing was at the digital marketing agency Inspire Growth Partners in Auckland in a sponsorship and events role. This introduction to digital marketing revealed a fast-paced and dynamic field that suited her well. "I love the strategic thinking and creativity it demands.
